What are chipped and non-chipped cartridges?
Chipped ink cartridges were originally introduced at the turn on the millennium. The reason behind their introduction was to ensure the printer recognised not only a cartridge made by the same manufacturer as the printer was attached but also how much ink remained inside. Are there cheaper alternatives to chipped cartridges?
