Both the sheets you’ll need to make your own Advent Calendar are available to download here. Once downloaded, print the Advent Calendar template on either A4 printer paper, photo paper or card (check out our guide for advice on how to print on card).
Top Tip: Use photo paper for a glossy finish.
How to Make Your Own Advent Calendar
- Download and print.
- Cut the windows on page 1 by trimming three sides of each numbered box (make sure a grownup does this). You’ll need to leave the left edge attached as a flap.
- Line up the two sheets (the numbered sheet needs to go on top) and make sure each flap lines up with the matching illustration.
- Use either double-sided tape or a glue stick to glue the sides of both sheets together.
- Close all the flaps so you don’t spoil the surprise!
