Your Details

a. When you register with the Cartridge People website, you’ll need to choose a contact email address and password. You are responsible for all sessions and transactions taken under these details. You should keep your password safe and not disclose it to anyone. You should change it immediately if you feel it has been compromised. If you are using a shared computer, then we advise clearing your cookies after ordering to ensure that other people cannot retrieve any information. Click HERE to remove all cookies.

b. If any of your details change, (such as your credit card billing address), you must inform Cartridge People as soon as possible. You can update your details by signing into your account on the Cartridge People website and updating the relevant sections.

c. Our website is not designed to be used by children or minors. You must not provide us with your personal information if you are under the age of 18. We do not intend to collect personal information from any individuals under the age of 18. If we receive notice or believe that someone under the age of 18 has provided us with personal information, we’ll make every reasonable effort to remove such personal information.

Meaning of “You”; “We/ Us/ Our”

a. “You” means any member of the public using this website, placing an order or transacting on this website.

b. “We/Us/Our” means The Cartridge People Ltd, Unit 13 Orion Park, Orion Way, Crewe, CW1 6NG

The Contract Between Us

a. Any contract for purchases made through our website will be with The Cartridge People Ltd, which is registered in the UK.

b. When you place an order on our website to purchase goods from us, that constitutes an “Offer to Buy” from you. We accept this order when we send you a dispatch email, confirming that we’ve dispatched the goods you’ve ordered from us. That acceptance will be deemed complete, (and the contract formed and communicated to you), at the time we send the dispatch email, whether you receive that email or not.

The Cartridge People must receive payment of the total price of the goods you order before your order can be accepted and the contract formed. The only exception to this is when a business customer uses a credit account to purchase, in which case please refer to the conditions of your Business Account.

Once payment has been received, The Cartridge People will confirm that your order has been received by sending an email (Shipment Confirmation email). This email will be sent to the email address you’ve provided in your registration form. The shipment email will include your name, the order number and the total price. The Cartridge People’s acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us on these terms. Any term sought to be imposed by you in your order will not form part of the contract.

c. The Cartridge People are entitled to withdraw from any contract in the case of obvious errors or inaccuracies regarding the goods appearing on our website. If an error or inaccuracy is discovered regarding the advertised price of the goods that you’ve ordered before the contract is made, (see (b) above), we’ll contact you as soon as possible by email.

d. The website is updated multiple times a day regarding stock availability. Whilst every effort is made to show the correct availability of stock; the stock availability shown on the website is an indication of the availability at the time of the last update. It doesn’t constitute confirmation of stock availability at the time of the order. The Cartridge People are entitled to withdraw from any contract that can’t be fulfilled due to lack of stock. If a stock availability issue is discovered with regard to the goods that you’ve ordered before the contract is made, (see (b) above), we’ll contact you as soon as possible by email.

e. The Cartridge People does not supply products to wholesalers or resellers and reserves the right to cancel orders it believes are placed with the intent to resell. This includes any individual or business who are print service providers and therefore do not qualify as an end user.

f. The order acknowledgment email sent once an order is placed isn’t a contract and doesn’t constitute an acceptance of your order. This order acknowledgment email is only a record of your offer to purchase a particular item at a particular price. No order shall be deemed to be accepted until we issue a dispatch email.

Quality of Goods

We never compromise on the quality of our goods and understand quality and value for money are extremely important to our customers. All our products are manufactured to the highest standards and are sourced only from manufacturers with exacting standards, with many holding ISO 9000/9001/9002 quality and ISO 14001 environmental standards. We stock products made by your printer manufacturer and compatible products from alternative manufacturers.

For Cartridge People Compatible Own Brand products, ink and toner quality and lifespan are comparable to that of the branded manufacturers. Compatible remanufactured cartridges are all print tested prior to leaving our manufacturers. Contact our Customer Service team for more details. All your printer consumable purchases are backed by our Satisfaction Guaranteed promise.

If your goods have been damaged in transit or you discover a fault, please retain all documentation and packaging and contact us as soon as possible after receipt. Arrangements will be agreed for return and replacement items will be dispatched. Please contact us prior to returning any goods, this will allow us to quickly resolve any issues.

Please do not send faulty products back to us without contacting us first. If you have a faulty item that you need to return, we’ll send a returns label so the items are sent back to us at no cost to you.

Please Note

*In the unlikely event your printer/copier purchased from us acquires a fault, you must first notify The Cartridge People directly. Contacting us first allows our Customer Service team to give support. We often at this stage find a resolution to the problem being experienced, saving you time and unnecessary engineer costs. We also use an independent printer engineer for specific issues. If the printer fault occurs within one year of the purchase date and the printer is deemed unusable, then arrangements can be made to return the printer for either a replacement or a refund. The Cartridge People shall be under no liability in respect of any defect arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, abnormal working conditions or failure to follow the Supplier’s instruction. This warranty is not transferable and excludes routine maintenance, consumables and parts subject to normal wear and tear, service maintenance kits and damage caused by misuse or negligence. Product Photography

Compatible/remanufactured products are manufactured in more than one factory, all of which have processes for continuous product testing to ensure we can provide customers with the best quality and value. Therefore, it should be noted that images of these types of products are for illustrative purposes only and the actual product supplied may differ slightly from the product image used.

Satisfaction Guaranteed

Account Credit

We, at our discretion, may credit accounts with credit for future use on www.cartridgepeople.com. This credit can only be used to purchase goods on www.cartridgepeople.com and is not convertible into cash or any other fiat currency. Sources of credit may take the form of refunds, credit purchases or other Customer Service approved contributions. If your account is deleted either at your request or is deleted due to data protection reasons, then any account credit will be lost. We’ll communicate with you over the period of your account’s existence, advising you of your balance if it’s non-zero.

Cancellation

Please note that under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you’re entitled to cancel your order for any reason within 30 days of receiving your goods.

However, if you decide you no longer want the items you’ve purchased from us for any reason, we allow you to send them back for a credit/full refund within 12 months of purchase. The items need to be sent back in a reusable/resale condition, complete with all accessories and in the original packaging. Also, items need to be unopened and undamaged. Please do not return any items without contacting our Customer Service team first. You will be responsible for the postage and packaging of the items being returned.

Our Reassurance to You

Our website is updated regularly throughout the day to ensure an accurate reflection of stock availability. However, in the event of any stock issue, please be assured that a member of our dependable Customer Service team will be in contact to advise you accordingly. It seldom happens but please be assured that we’ll always contact you promptly if it does.

In the unlikely event that you haven’t received your order in the estimated delivery times detailed above on our delivery page, then please don’t hesitate to contact our Customer Service team on 0203 001 0234 or via email: customerservice@cartridgepeople.com. Our dedicated and hardworking Customer Service team are pleased to offer further assistance and support if necessary.

It’s worth noting that we find a high proportion of missing items are left at a neighbour or with colleague. In these scenarios, the carrier should leave a card indicating this, however there are times when these are misplaced or not left at all, so if possible, please check first. As is customary, compensation is limited to the value of goods lost. Please be aware that a claim must be made within 60 days of the purchase date. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Obtaining a Refund

After you’ve placed an order with Cartridge People, you can ask for your money back if you don’t receive the item:

• 30 days after your Order Confirmation

We’ll attempt to fulfil your order by the delivery date set out in the Order Confirmation email. If no delivery date is specified, then you can expect to receive your order within 30 days from the date of the Order Confirmation, unless there are exceptional circumstances. We’ll contact you if your order will not be fulfilled within this time. In the unlikely event we’re unable to supply the product ordered, we’ll advise you as soon as possible.

Dispatch of Goods to You

Unless you notify us, (in respect of all orders at the time of placing the order(s), that you’ll arrange for your own collection of goods from our place of business, we’ll arrange for the dispatch of your order on your behalf. Collection is not always available and is ONLY available by prior arrangement.

Goods will be dispatched as soon as possible after your order has been accepted. We understand that timely delivery is important to all our customers and we want to ensure we provide the best service possible.

We can arrange on your behalf to dispatch via post, (or if deemed appropriate, arrange a courier). If this is the case, the goods ordered by you will be sent to the person and address you give to Cartridge People at the time you make your order.

Ownership, Title and Risk

All ownership, title and risk of loss and/or damage of the goods purchased shall pass to you at the point and time at which the goods are dispatched and also paid for. If you purchase on credit, the goods remain the property of The Cartridge People until full payment has been received.

VAT

The prices can be viewed on the website either ex. VAT or inc. VAT, using the toggle at the top of the page. When completing a purchase, VAT is charged on applicable items. Please note this site is not able to take orders for delivery to territories other than the UK.

General Information

These terms and conditions, together with the current Cartridge People website prices, delivery details and Cartridge People contact details, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the goods to you by The Cartridge People. These terms and conditions cannot be varied except in writing signed by a Director of The Cartridge People Limited. In particular nothing said by any salesperson on behalf of Cartridge People should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions or as an authorised Cartridge People representation about the nature or quality of any goods offered for sale by The Cartridge People. The Cartridge People shall have no liability for any such representation being untrue or misleading.

All brand names and product names are trademarks or trade names of their respective holders. The brands and trademarks owned by the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) are referred to only for the purpose of pointing out which of the OEM products are compatible with ours. The Cartridge People is not in any way associated with any OEM.

Liability

Force Majeure

Cartridge People shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered. Cartridge People shall also have no liability to you for any delay in delivering goods to you or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that’s caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.

Invalidity

If any part of these conditions is unenforceable, (including any provision in which Cartridge People excludes its liability to you), the enforceability of any other part of these conditions won’t be affected.

Governing Law

The contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law. The English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.

WEEE

What is WEEE?

The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items. In the UK, retailers must provide a process which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge, on a like-for-like basis.

Unwanted electrical equipment is the UK’s fasting growing type of waste. Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment. If you do not recycle, the electrical equipment will end up in landfill, with the potential of hazardous substances leaking and contaminating soil and water – harming both wildlife and human health.

We Can Help

If you’re purchasing a new ink cartridge, toner cartridge or printer, we’re pleased to offer our customers the opportunity to recycle their old one for free.

Please contact our Customer Service team to request a recycling envelope or pre-paid label, to enable you to forward your old ink cartridge, toner cartridge or printer to us for recycling.

To remind you that electrical equipment can be recycled, all products are now marked with a crossed-out wheelie bin symbol. Please recycle all products that bear this symbol.

Voucher Codes

Please Note: Only one voucher code to be used per transaction. Voucher codes cannot be used in conjunction with products marked “special price” or “exclusive price” on the website. We’re unable to honour any voucher codes after the expiry date.
