At Brighton SEO Summer 2021, Cartridge People's SEO Manager, Andy Davies, offered insights and advice on how to overcome the challenges of working for a brand in-house.

The conference was a virtual event due to Covid-19 restrictions meaning that Andy delivered his talk via video. Whilst the outtakes from his recording provided many laughs for the team here at Cartridge People, it was alright on the night when it came to eventually giving his presentation to digital marketers from all over the world.

Commenting on making his (virtual) public speaking debut, Andy said: "Speaking at Brighton SEO is something I've wanted to do for a while and it felt like the right time to do it. Hopefully, all of the attendees found what I had to say useful. It was good to offer insight into the way we go about things at Cartridge People and the reason we're as popular with customers as we are.

"I must admit, having prepared myself for presenting in-person it was a shame that restrictions around Covid-19 meant the event became a virtual one. Presenting to a webcam offered its own challenges and my style was switching from the analysis of Gary Neville when I was in full flow, to the rage of Gordon Ramsey when I made a mistake and had to start again! 

"It's been a brilliant experience though and is one of the many ways we're trying to make people more aware of what we do as a brand, how we help our customers and the teams that work towards making us such a strong online retailer."
