Our Photography Competition Winner!

At Cartridge People, we’re passionate about helping people capture life’s most beautiful moments. That’s why we launched our latest competition, ‘Memories Through the Lens’, to celebrate World Photography Day on August 19th. Our aim was to encourage budding photographers to showcase their creativity and share their cherished moments through the magic of photography. 
We were thrilled by the overwhelming response from talented creatives across the country. Every submission told a unique story, capturing memories in ways that stirred both emotion and inspiration. The incredible variety of entries made choosing a winner no easy task! 
After much deliberation, we are excited to announce that Mark Solon is the winner of this year’s competition! His stunning photograph, featuring an afternoon walk with his brother along the beach, was truly captivating and stood out for its depth and emotional resonance. We’d also like to take this opportunity to commend the other entrants. The quality of submissions was truly exceptional. It was inspiring to see so many creative interpretations of the theme and we are grateful to everyone who participated.

Cartridge People’s in-house photographer Ilias Kounenis and independent judge Sophie Hearts selected the winning image based on four key criteria; creativity and originality, relevance to the theme, technical quality and emotional impact.

These resources are designed to help photographers of all levels capture, enhance and preserve their memories for years to come.
